Richard’s early pharmacy career began by cleaning the parking lot, sweeping floors and stocking the shelves at his father’s pharmacy, CDS #7.
Richard attended Western Kentucky University for pre-pharmacy classes. He graduated from pharmacy school at the University of Kentucky in 1968. After graduation, he worked at his dad’s pharmacy until being drafted into the Army. In 1974, he and his dad opened CDS #10 at 1308 Ashley Circle. Richard and his wife, Judy, have three children (Darren and twin girls, Laura and Sara) and six grandchildren.
Richard has thoroughly enjoyed the relationships he has made through the pharmacy over the years. Thank you all for your friendship and support.
Darren grew up watching his grandfather and father care for their patients at CDS #7 and CDS #10. He decided to continue the family legacy and become a 4th generation pharmacist. He began helping his dad at CDS #10, delivering medicines, while attending Western Kentucky University. He graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 1999.
Darren and his wife, Jane, have two children. In addition to spending quality time with his family, Darren likes to hunt and fish. He also likes to follow his favorite sports teams: UK and WKU basketball, the Dallas Cowboys football and the Boston Celtics.
Jane began her pharmacy training in the pre-pharmacy program at Hopkinsville Community College. She then attended the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and graduated in 1997.
After pharmacy school, Jane moved to Bowling Green where she met her husband Darren. They have two wonderful children. Between caring for her family, Jane enjoys photography, reading and following UK and WKU basketball.
